Second independent analysis backs UCU impact study

Respected higher education newspaper the Times Higher Education has run its own independent modelling of the USS proposals which supports UCU’s own report about the impact of the changes.

They reported that financial modelling carried out by pension consultants Barnett Waddingham  suggests that ‘some academics would lose about £20,000 a year in retirement income if the new scheme goes ahead’.
